Reduce Water Use By 30-40%

Choosing A Size

There are a few factors to consider when selecting the size of system for your home:

How much reclaimed water will you use?

This will depend on the number of people in the house (assume about 45L per day per person for toilet flushing) and what other uses you will have for the reclaimed water. Irrigation may be permitted in some municipalities.

How much water can be reclaimed and from what sources?

Typically, capturing water from showers and bathtubs will produce enough greywater for toilet flushing. In some cases, additional sources may be required to completely eliminate using fresh water for the toilets. Possible sources include you clothes washer and collection of rainwater.

How much room (floor space) to you have where the Brac will be located?

The larger capacity units have a wider footprint. The most popular units are about the size of a typical water heater. Ensure the unit you choose will fit in the space you have available for it.
